The Old 97's Should Be On Saturday Night Live [Is America Ready?]

I don't know whats been happening since I received the above blog post in my Google Reader. But it should happen, yo! Go 'Like' the petition over on Facebook.

THIS should be on teevee:

Or "Champaign, Illinois." Or whatever they feel like singing! America must be slammed with Rhett Miller's gyrating hips on Saturday Night Live. It must happen.

New Elsinore Album Out!

...And Facebook thought that I wouldn't know, even though I'm a fan of Elsinore on Facebook, so they helpfully suggested it.

Good try, Facebook, I'm all over it!

Facebook should do things like this

Apparently its old
, but I'm maintaining its a good one. There has been plenty written about it.

There's even a study that says facebook contributes to relationship jealousy. That even if you're happy and moved on with someone else, seeing an ex in the same state of bliss can lead to a resurgence of jealousy.

So Facebook? Remind us that we're about to do something harmful, to ourselves. Save us from ourselves.

This Girl Loves The Collage

Facebook status collage, that is.

More oversharing:

Similar, of course, to my tweet cloud.

The one that makes me happiest? When I got unofficially offered the job I have now, I went home and updated my status to, "ZOMG HIRED?!?!?!??!?"

Facebook now catering to my nostalgia

In case you can't read it, it says, "Re-live the good old days, come and check out the video to Blur's classic tune, "Girls and Boys". We all know it's awesome!"

Wow. Facebook is now a little eerie in its accuracy. Thanks....I think. I wonder who paid for that advertisement, and what they expect out of it. Me watching the video doesn't do anything monetary for anybody. Are they prepping their U.S. audience for a (possible) tour and want to refresh fans memory?
