Terribly Happy Trailer

I saw the trailer for Terribly Happy right before seeing An Education.

I admit that 75% of the appeal of this trailer is the cat. Mojn! Mojn! Mojn!

Photos of my fridge, take one

Dan over at The Illinoisiac posted photos of his fridge after he went grocery shopping for the first time since July.

I go grocery shopping once a week and Costco shop once every month. I'm pretty well stocked.

[When I first moved to DC, I had very, very little money and took very little food on the long trek from Illinois. The result was very little food in the cupboards. Its amazing how just that little fact, the fact that I didn't have extra food in the fridge or cabinet, freaked me out to no end. And now, I have enough food to last weeks without grocery shopping, even though I go at least once a week.]

He Can't Do It Alone

Darth Vader can't do it alone. The only thing is it doesn't make sense.

[Edit: Dan says that once the empire expanded, the cloning couldn't keep pace. Later, there was recruitment. My bad...]

[Edit again! More awesome recruitment posters from the source]

Frak it Friday: Of Montreal Edition

I saw Of Montreal in concert for the first time since March 2006. This clip is from their New York show a couple of days ago (feat Solange Knowles!) and they played this song last night.

The highly exciteable people beside me were positive that Susan Sarandon would be there, spanking pigs like she did a couple of days ago, but no dice.

[New album out in September!]

Barack Obama Gives Up in 2010

It seems as though Barack Obama has a little bit of a trash-stache going on in this. Just a little bit of extra growth up there.
